David Bennett
Born 1969

David Bennett graduated form the Royal College of Art in London after studying for his Master degree in Natural History Illustration and Ecological Studies. David has won several prestigious awards including first prize for the RSPB Birds Magazine Wake up to Birds’ painting competition in 2001, first prize for the BBC Wildlife Art Awards in 1998; winner of the Colour Section of the bird watch Harper Collins Artist of the Year 1997 and first prize for the European Bird Artist of the Year in 1993.

He is a member of the Society of Wildlife Artists, and has shown work in their annual exhibition in the Mall Galleries, London for several years, along with many solo national exhibitions.

David has travelled widely and has been involved in major exhibitions to Extremadura, Spain; County Wexford in Ireland and the Copper River Delta in Alaska.

David specialises in producing, in his unique style, distinctive studies of wildlife in it’s natural habitat.
