The exhibition will be held on Friday 27th October and is an an intrinsic part of the Yorkshire Wildlife Trusts Corporate Charity Ball. yukki yaura joins the land gallery

The Land gallery is pleased to welcome Yukki Yaura. Yukki is an artist of diversity and Buddhist Philosophy, Yukki is renowned for her wildlife paintings and her calligraphy work in television and in the Peter Greenaway and Stephen Spielburg films: “The Pillow Book” and "Empire Of The Sun". "My work subconsciously comes from philosophy of Mahayana Buddhism that teaches: animal life and human’s and any life forms are equally significant: Both life and its environment manifest two but not two for one cannot exist without the other" Yukki Yaura

The Land Gallery is delighted to introduce photographer Gary Woods. Gary has work held in important collections worldwide including The Getty Museum, Los Angeles and the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. In 2000 he was a BBC Artist in Residence and has exhibited worldwide in Japan, Paris, Nigeria and the UK.
